![]() Engineered and Standard Spray Lances Overall spray system performance is often dependent on lance type and placement although this can be overlooked as customers focus more on the nozzle type. That's why we work closely with customers on assessing the application requirements and evaluating all the factors that can affect spray system performance. Once the review and evaluation stages are complete, recommendations are submitted on spray lance style and placement. ![]() Should you have firm specifications when you contact us, we can Here are a few examples of recently completed projects ![]() One customer approached us in need of an air atomizing spray lance. However, this spray lance needed to be insulated. We constructed it out of Inconel® and 304H stainless steel with a welded overlay. We also conducted extensive testing on the spray lance - Positive Material Identification (PMI), Liquid Penetrate (LP), Radiography (RT), Material Test Reports (MTR) and spray characterization - to meet the customer's documentation requirements. Another customer required a special spray lance that could be removed from the vessel without process interruption. Our solution was a high-pressure, retractable spray lance made from 316 stainless steel, built in accordance with ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code. Special safety features were included in the spray lance design such as chains and welded stops to counter the reactionary force generated in the event of a broken nozzle tip. ![]() If standard stainless steel spray lances will meet your needs, we can help.
