Manual Brush, Automatic Brush and Brushless Spray Headers

Header WindJet

Most of our spray headers are custom designed.
Recent solutions that may be of interest to you include:

  • Spray headers that accommodate many different types of nozzles. This approach enables a single spray header to be used for multiple applications and saves space
  • Spray headers that ensure perfect overlapping spray patterns or non-overlapping spray patterns for applications where uniform coverage is critical

Tell us about your application and we'll help you determine the type of spray header required to achieve your spray system goals and optimize performance.

We offer a standard line of spray headers for applications
where nozzle placement or physical space is not a consideration.

Shower Header

Our standard line of stainless steel spray headers includes:

  • A manual brush spray header that utilizes a hand wheel to rotate the brush assembly for quick and easy nozzle clean-out
  • An automatic brush spray header that uses a motor assembly to automatically rotate the interior brushes
  • A brushless version that uses ShowerJet® disc-type nozzles instead of a brush assembly to provide cleaning

During the cleaning cycle:

  • Spraying operation continues - brush activation does not impact system performance
  • The brushes scrub the interior of the header and each nozzle orifice
  • Debris is quickly removed and discharged through the flush-out valve. Full liquid flow is restored to the system without contaminating the sprayed surface
  • The header continues to spray during the flush-out operation

Oscillating Spray Headers

Control header

An oscillator assembly, consisting of an oscillator, oscillator base and a control unit, provides continuous movement of the spray header and ensures complete, uniform coverage with minimal water usage.

Air Atomizing Spray Headers

Air Atomizing Header

If your application requires critical or precise coverage, spray headers can be equipped with our air atomizing nozzles. These headers are often used in moisturizing and coating applications where accurate, uniform spray distribution across the contact area is essential or when viscous fluids are used.

There are two basic options available:

  • Open channel, in stainless steel or aluminum, for use in applications where damage to the spray header/nozzles is unlikely
  • Enclosed box-style design, in 316 or 304 stainless steel, to protect the nozzles and feed lines

Special options are possible as well. A recently completed air atomizing spray header, made of 316L stainless steel, was fully enclosed and equipped with Variable Automatic Spray Guns (VMAU). The unique aspect of this spray header was that it included a hot water recirculation system to ensure the temperature of the solution being sprayed remained constant.

Control boxes are also available and can be customized based on application requirements.
